36.3 crores stipend for apprentice during lock down affirm by MSDE

Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE) has affirmed that the apprentice will get their stipend during the lockdown period. As per the MSDE total cost for the stipend will be 36.3 crores. They also assured that the apprentice will get a full stipend, there will be no deduction. 

Total 2.24 lakh apprentice is currently registered in different trades. This stipend will help the candidate to run their livelihood. Due to the lock down, apprenticeship training has been interrupted. The training period will be extended after the Corona Virus (COVID 19) situation will be controlled. 

National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) will notify more details regarding the apprentice training date.
