The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has released the Bihar Forest Guard Syllabus 2024 in Hindi and English for the upcoming Forest Guard, Forester, and Forest Ranger exams. The syllabus has been categorized into different sections as per the type of exam. Bihar Forest Guard Syllabus Exam Pattern 2024

The selection procedure for the posts of Bihar Forest Guard, Forester, and Forest Ranger comprises three stages: Written Exam, Physical Examination/Efficiency Test, and Medical Check-Up

Written Exam Pattern (लिखित परीक्षा पैटर्न)

☛ Free Mock Test/Old Paper

The first stage of the selection process is the Written Exam. The written exam pattern consists of 100 objective-type questions with a total of 400 marks. The exam standard is 10+2 (12th) and the total time provided to complete the exam is two hours. The paper is available in both Hindi and English mediums. For each correct answer, candidates will receive 4 marks, while 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया)

Stage 1: लिखित परीक्षा (Written Exam)

Stage 2: शारीरिक परीक्षण / दक्षता परीक्षा (Physical Examination/ Efficiency Test)

Stage 3: चिकित्सा जांच (Medical Check-Up)

 

The second stage of the selection process is the Physical Examination/ Efficiency Test, where candidates will be tested on physical abilities such as running, high jump, long jump, etc.

The third and final stage of the selection process is the Medical Check-Up, where candidates will be examined by a medical professional to ensure they are physically fit to perform the duties of a Forest Guard, Forester, or Forest Ranger.

Candidates need to be well-versed with the Bihar Forest Guard Syllabus to prepare for the Written Exam, which is the first stage of the selection process. Part 2: Bihar Forester Syllabus Numeric & Reasoning Ability

There is a total of 25 questions in Part 2 of the written exam syllabus. These 25 questions are divided into 03 topics expected total number of questions and marks are as follows.

Topics 01:Basic numeracy (numbers and their relation, orders of magnitude, etc.)– (Matriculation or equivalent level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc,- Matriculation or equivalent level) (बुनियादी संख्या (संख्या और उनके संबंध, परिमाण के आदेश, आदि) - (मैट्रिकुलेशन या समकक्ष स्तर), डेटा व्याख्या (चार्ट, ग्राफ़, टेबल, डेटा दक्षता, आदि, - मैट्रिकुलेशन या समकक्ष स्तर)

Knowledge of Hindi language – The paper aims to test the candidate's ability to read and understand serious discursive prose and to express his ideas clearly and correctly in the language.

2. Usage and Vocabulary.
3. Hindi Grammar.

Bihar Forest Guard Physical Test: Stage 2

Stage 2 Physical Test will be conducted only for the Bihar Forest Guard and Forest Ranger.

Physical Test (शारीरिक परीक्षण): For SC/ ST

• Height - 160 cm
• Chest Norm - 79-84 cms

Female -

• Height - 155 cm

Distance Traveled (By Foot) (पैदल दूरी तय करना)

Physical Test (शारीरिक परीक्षण): For Others

• Height - 165 cm
• Chest Norm - 81-86 cms
