BSSC Stenographer Syllabus 2024: Selection Process

The Bihar SSC stenographer selection process relies on both a written exam and a skill test as its cornerstone. Only those candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in the skill test. Upon the successful completion of the interview, a decision will be made. To secure a salary range between Rs. 5,200 and Rs. 20,200 per month for the position of BSSC stenographer, it is essential to follow the prescribed syllabus.

BSSC Stenographer Syllabus: Examination Level

The level of the BSSC Stenographer Written Examination will be comparable to Intermediate. General Knowledge will be the subject of the written exam's question. Five times as many candidates will be qualified for the written exam as there are openings. Only those applicants will be invited to the skill test.

For each correct answer, 04 marks will be awarded and for each wrong answer, 01 Mark will be reduced. No marks will be awarded for not attempting questions.

Bihar SSC Stenographer Skill Test will be taken for Hindi Typing.

BSSC Hindi Typing Skill Test: Category 01

• Hindi Typing Speed 80 Word Per Minutes.
• Total Four Minutes of typing.
• Starting One Minute of Dictation Write.
• Error Should not be more than 10%.

BSSC Hindi Typing Skill Test: Category 02

• 30 Word Per Minute Speed to a total of 300 words.
• Error Should not be more than 1.5%.
