GAIL (India) Limited, the primary natural gas company in India, is a Maharatna PSU that oversees every aspect of the natural gas value chain, from exploration and production to processing, transmission, distribution, and marketing. GAIL is spearheading the shift towards a new era of clean fuel industrialization by constructing green energy corridors that link key consumption centers in India to important gas fields, LNG terminals, and other cross-border gas sourcing points, in response to rapidly changing circumstances. Additionally, to establish a significant presence in the global market, GAIL is expanding its operations overseas. Last year, 25 executive trainee positions were available at GAIL.

GAIL Executive Trainee Salary

Candidates who are chosen will be assigned to the E-2 grade as Executive Trainees and will receive a basic pay of Rs. 60,000/- during their one-year training and probation period. Upon successful completion of this period, they will be absorbed into the same E-2 grade with a pay scale of Rs. 60,000 - Rs. 1,80,000/-.

Gas Authority of India Limited Executive Trainee Salary After 7th Pay Commission

The pay scale of Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000/- at the Basic Pay of Rs.60,000/- during one-year training cum probation as Executive Trainee in E-2 grade.

Pay and Allowances:

• Basic Pay as applicable in the grade, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) at the applicable rates and perks & allowances under the cafeteria approach.

Variable Pay:

• Performance Related Pay is based on individual and organizational performance.

Other Benefits:

• Company Accommodation / Leased Accommodation/HRA, the medical facility, group insurance, etc.

Superannuation Benefits:

Employees who superannuate from GAIL after providing a minimum of 15 years of service will also be eligible for Post-Retirement Medical Benefits in addition to the Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Pension. The policies of the company in effect, as well as any subsequently amended policies, will govern all of the aforementioned benefits.
