The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) conducts the TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) exam for recruitment to various teaching positions in the Haryana Basic Education Board (HBEB). The exam is conducted in an offline mode and is available for candidates who have completed their 12th, UG, and PG studies. The exam is of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type in which 100 questions have to be answered in 120 minutes. The medium of paper is available in both Hindi and English, with 1 mark for the correct answer, and no marking deducted for the wrong answer.

The TGT exam consists of two parts. Part I includes General awareness, Reasoning, Math, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and Subject Specific questions, while Part II includes  History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, and Environment of Haryana. The cutoff marks for the exam are yet to be announced by the commission.
