During and after their training, JAGs in the Indian Army receive various salaries and allowances. The 31st Army JAG Course (Oct 2023) Salary will adhere to the government of India's defense pay matrix. For the 49 weeks of basic training, JAG-recruited trainees will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 55,764/-. After completing their initial training, JAGs in the Indian Army will receive a minimum salary of Rs. 56,100. The highest monthly salary that an Indian Army JAG can earn is Rs. 1,77,500.
