Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission JNV 2022-23 : For Navodaya Vidyalaya admission, the student must qualify the entrance exam known as JNVST. The selection test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Navodaya admission to class 6th, the students studying in class 5th can apply for the JNV entrance exam. To balance the strength of the school, JNV admissions through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) are also provided for the class 9th and lateral admissions to JNV are provided for class 11th on the basis of the merit list. The students who are studying in class 10th can apply for lateral Jawahar Navodaya admissions in class 11th.

Navodaya Class 9th Admission 2023 : Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the official notice, application date, exam date, and link for lateral admission in JNV admission. The students can fill out the online application form for the Navodaya admission from 02nd September 2022. The last date of the online application for the JNV entrance exam class 9th admission is 15th October 2023. The selection test for the NVS admission will be conducted on 11th February 2023. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a group of schools started in the year 1986 by Rajiv Gandhi to empower the meritorious students of rural areas and provide free education from class 6th to 12th including residential services. The JNVs are run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, (NVS), New Delhi. The authorities of the schools are the Department of School Education and Literacy, the Ministry of Education (MoE), and the Government of India. The JNVs are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The current chairman of the Samiti is Dharmendra Pradhan. Only 80 students are selected for each Jawahar Navodaya school on the basis of their merit in the JNVST. The total number of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in the country is 636 and the total number of students enrolled is 2,65,574. The age limit for JNV admission is between 11 years to 19 years.
