Odisha OSSSC Nursing Officer Syllabus 2026: The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission will conduct a nursing officer exam in 2024 for candidates who have completed their diploma or B.Sc in nursing. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and will be available in both English and Odia languages. Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam, and each correct answer will be worth one mark. However, a negative mark of one-fourth will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The nursing officer exam will cover four subjects: General English (5 marks), Arithmetic (10 marks), Subject(s) related to nursing (60 marks), and Practical Knowledge (25 marks). To qualify for the exam, candidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS categories must score at least 35% marks, while SC/ST candidates must score at least 30% marks.

Odisha OSSSC Nursing Officer Syllabus 2026

The online examination and document verification/interview will serve as the basis for the selection of Odisha OSSSC Nursing Officers. The online exam will include diploma-level questions. The online exam will be 100 marks long, have 100 questions overall, and take two hours to complete. The online exam paper will cover general aptitude, reasoning, general awareness, and basic computer knowledge topics. There will be deducted 1/3 points for the online exam. OBC NCL (50/100), SC/ ST/ PWD (45/100), and General (50/100) have the lowest cut-off marks.
