    • Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

    • Parents/guardians' income from all sources should not exceed ₹2,50,000/- per annum.

Scholarship Name: Government's Orphan Education Program

Sudakshya for Girls Child Odisha State Scholarship Form 2023

Scholarship Name: Sudakshya for Girls Child

★ Scheme Status:

    • Sudakhshya Scheme for Girls and Green Passage for Orphans now have 'regular scheme' status.

★ Implementation Portal:

★ Timeline (Academic Session 2023-24):

    • Online application for girl/orphan students (fresh and renewal): Sep 25, 2023, to Oct 27, 2023.
    • Validation by ITI/Polytechnic Principals (fresh and renewal): Nov 1, 2023.
    • Validation by DCPO (Green Passage Scheme, fresh and renewal): Nov 6, 2023.

★ Scholarship Amount (During ITI / Polytechnic)

 ➤ Maintenance Allowance:

    • Hostellers: ₹1500 per month.
    • Day scholars: ₹500 per month.
    • Eligibility: This allowance is granted to girl trainees who attend at least 80% of their classes.

➤  Admission Fees:

    • Caution Money: ₹100 (refundable).
    • Premium: ₹100 per annum towards the 'ITI Trainee Welfare Scheme.'
    • Refund: Admission fee component is refundable if the girl trainee receives financial support for it from other sources.

➤ Hostel Seat Rent:

    • The actual cost of hostel seat rent is directly credited to the DDO accounts of ITI/Polytechnic Principals by DTE&T, Odisha.
    • Girl boarders are only responsible for paying the monthly food charges.

★ Scholarship Amount (After ITI / Polytechnic)

➤ Maintenance Allowance:

    • ₹1000 per month for apprenticeship training within the state.
    • ₹1500 per month for apprenticeship training outside the state.
    • A one-time ₹5000 maintenance allowance for completing 6 months of apprenticeship training outside the state.

➤ Payment Method:

    • Maintenance allowance is disbursed half-yearly through RTGS directly to the girl student's bank account.

➤ Verification Process:

    • The allowance amount is authenticated by the Principal of the relevant ITI/Polytechnic.
    • Verification of absentee statements from apprenticeship employers is required before disbursement.

➤ One-Time Allowance:

    • The one-time ₹5000 maintenance allowance is granted upon verification of continuous employment by the ITI/Polytechnic Principal.

★ Promotion:

    • ITIs and Polytechnics are urged to promote both schemes among students and encourage timely online applications.

★ Sudakhshya Scheme for Girls:

    • Scholarships for female students in technical education in Odisha's ITIs and Polytechnics.

Odisha Scholarship: KALIA (Post Matric)

This Odisha scholarship form is managed by Agriculture and FE Department. The students of farmers in Odisha, who are studying in Odisha Government Colleges, Universities, ITI, Diploma, etc are eligible for KALIA Scholarship 2023. The students get benefits of ₹1000 per month for 10 months and ₹1200 per month for 10 months, who are studying for degree and diploma courses.

Odisha Scholarship E - Medhabruti

E - Medhabruti Odisha Scholarship scheme is run by the Higher Education Department. There are three types of schemes under this scholarship. The three schemes are PG Merit, Technical, and Professional, and U.G Merit. General (UG) category, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Socially and Economically Backward Classes or Communities (SEBC), and Economically Backward Classes (EBC).

The total annual family income should not be more than ₹6 Lakh and the minimum marks in the last appeared exam should be 60%.

The Junior Merit Odisha scholarship is provided by the School And Mass Education Department to the students who have secured a minimum of 60% in the last appeared exam and whose total annual family income is not more than ₹6 lakhs.
