Sports Authority of India (SAI) has announced the result for the post of Chief Coach, High-Performance Coach, and other related posts for the year 2023. The recruitment drive had a total of 152 vacancies, and candidates who have appeared for the examination can now check their results. SAI Coach Recruitment 2023

Sports Authority of India (SAI) has recently released an advertisement (Advertisement No. 147-1/2023) for the recruitment of coaches in different categories. The total number of vacancies is 152, and the minimum pay scale offered is Rs. 56100 per month. The maximum pay scale offered is Rs. 215900 per month, with a maximum age limit of 60 years for the Chief Coach and High-Performance Coach, 45 years for the Coach, and 50 years for the Senior Coach.

The selection process will involve a written exam, an interview, and a medical test. The application process started on 10th February 2023 and will close on 3rd March 2023. There is no application fee for any category of candidates. The payment mode for the exam fee is through debit, credit card, and online banking.

Essential Qualification & Experience for Contractual Engagement:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Coaching from SAI, NS NIS, or from any other recognized Indian/Foreign University Experience: 5 years (for HPC), 10 years (for Chief Coach), 7 years (for Senior Coach), 5 years (for Coach).
  • Medal winner in Olympic/World Championship/ Twice Olympic Participation Experience: 3 years (for Chief Coach), 2 years (for Senior Coach), 0 years (for Coach).
  • Participation in Olympic/ Paralympics and International Event Experience: 7 years (for Chief Coach), 4 years (for Senior Coach), 2 years (for Coach)
  • Dronacharya Awardee Experience: 3 years (for Chief Coach), 2 years (for Senior Coach), 0 years (for Coach).

Eligibility for Coaches in various grades to be recruited on Deputation (Including short-term contract):

  • High-Performance Coach Eligibility Criteria: Officers working under the Central Govt./State Govt./UT Administration (Including their attached or subordinate offices)/ PSUs/Autonomous or Statutory Organizations/ Universities/ Educational & research institutions holding analogous posts in their parent cadre/department OR Officers with regular service of 5 years in the pay Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200/-) Pay: As per DoPT guidelines for pay fixation and experience for deputation upon the level for which the application is made.
  • Chief Coach Eligibility Criteria: Officers working under the Central Govt./State Govt./UT Administration (Including their attached or subordinate offices)/ PSUs/Autonomous or Statutory Organizations/ Universities/ Educational & research institutions holding analogous posts in their parent cadre/department OR Officers with regular service of 5 years in the pay Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700/-) Pay: As per DoPT guidelines for pay fixation and experience for deputation upon the level for which the application is made.
  • Senior Coach Eligibility Criteria: Officers working under the Central Govt./State Govt./UT Administration (Including their attached or subordinate offices)/ PSUs/Autonomous or Statutory Organizations/ Universities/ Educational & research institutions holding analogous posts in their parent cadre/department OR Officers with regular service of 5 years in the pay Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500/-) Pay: As per DoPT guidelines for pay fixation and experience for deputation upon the level for which the application is made.
