The South East Central Railway (SECR) Act is a law that governs the operations of the South East Central Railway zone, which is one of the 18 railway zones in India. The SECR zone comprises of three divisions, namely Bilaspur, Raipur, and Nagpur. The SECR Bilaspur division has invited online applications for the recruitment of 548 apprentices in various trades such as Carpenter, COPA, Draughtsman (Civil), Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Painter, Plumber, Sheet Metal Worker, Steno (English/Hindi), Turner, Welder, Wireman, and Digital Photographer.

To be eligible for these apprenticeships, candidates must have passed Class 10 High School or Matric with an ITI/NCVT certificate in the relevant trade. The minimum age limit for applicants is 15 years, and the maximum age limit is 24 years. The pay scale or salary for the apprentices will be as per department rules.
