Supreme Court SPA, PA Eligibility :-

Senior Personal Assistant (SPA) -

  • Bachelor Degree of a Recognized University
  • Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
  • Proficiency in Shorthand(English) with a speed of 110 w.p.m.
  • Experience :- 2 Year Experience of working as Stenographer Grade-D OR as Steno Typist in equivalent grade or collectively in the said grades or higher grade.

Personal Assistant (PA) -

  • bachelor Degree of a Recognized University
  • Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. 
  • Proficiency in Shorthand(English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m.

PART 1 -

Written Test -

  • Objective Type question paper
  • General English - 50 Questions
  • General Aptitude - 25 Questions
  • General Knowledge - 25 Questions
  • Total Questions - 100 Questions
  • Total Marks - 100 Marks
  • Qualifying marks – 50 Marks

Objective Type Computer knowledge Test -

  • Maximum marks - 10
  • Minimum qualifying marks -5

Duration -

  • 1 hours 45 Minutes

PART 2 -

Shorthand (English) Test

  • Speed - 110 words per minute
  • The time for transcription will be 45 minutes
  • Maximum mistakes permissible = 5% of the total words dictated

Method of Gradation -

  • Without mistake = 100 %
  • Upto 1% mistake = 90%
  • Upto 2% mistakes = 80%
  • Upto 3% mistakes = 70%
  • Upto 4% mistakes = 60%
  • Upto 5% mistakes = 50% 

Duration -

  • 7 Minutes

Total Marks - 100 Marks

Qualifying marks - 50 Marks
