✨TNPSC Civil Judge Syllabus 2024

The TNPSC Civil Judge exam is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains. The Prelims exam is OMR based objective-type and consists of 100 questions carrying one mark each. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers. The Mains exam is descriptive-type and consists of four papers: Translation Paper, Law Paper-I, Law Paper-II, and Law Paper-III. Each paper carries 100 marks.

The final selection of candidates is made on the basis of their combined marks in the preliminary examination, mains examination, and viva-voce test. The candidates who score the highest marks are selected for the post of civil judge.

TNPSC Civil Judge Prelims Syllabus (2024)

The TNPSC Civil Judge Prelims Syllabus is a test of your knowledge of law, general knowledge, and reasoning ability. It is designed to assess your readiness to become a civil judge in the state of Tamil Nadu. The TNPSC Civil Judge Prelims Syllabus is a 100-question, multiple-choice test for graduates. The test is given in Tamil and English and lasts for 180 minutes.

TNPSC Civil Judge Mains Syllabus (2024)

The TNPSC Civil Judge Mains Exam (2024) is a competitive exam conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for the selection of Civil Judges in the state. It is a descriptive exam conducted offline using OMR sheets and spans 180 minutes. The medium for this exam is Tamil and English, excluding language subjects.

The exam consists of four components:

  1. Translation Paper:

    • Tests the ability to translate legal passages between English and Tamil.

  2. Law Paper 1:
