CBSE Syllabus 2022 Exam has been reduced for the classes 09th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. The NCERT has released a new revised academic calendar which will reduce the losses due to lockdown. In consultation with HRD Minister with NCERT, NTA, and some other major educational institutions, a new academic calendar was proposed. A new academic calendar has been released by NCERT for the students which will enhance their productivity during the lockdown. CBSE Syllabus 2022

New CBSE Board Syllabus 2022 has been made for these purposes. Students must get exposure to various things.

Here is the list of the new changes done in CBSE 12th Syllabus 2022. Check all the information from the below

Business Studies 12

  • No change in syllabus

Accountancy 12

  • No change in syllabus

Biology 12

  • Term 'sacred groves' has been added into Chapter

Biology 12: Practical

  • No change

Chemistry 12

  • A new chapter Solid State' has been added as Unit 1.
  • Thus the sequence of units has also been changed.
  • In Unit 7 (block Elements), Group-15 Elements have been added and its number of periods also changed from 14 to 12.
  • The number of periods of Units 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 has been changed from 12 to 10, 12 to 10,14 to 10, 12 to 10, and 6 to 8 respectively. > The name of Unit 13 (Organic Compounds containing Nitrogen) has been changed to 'Amines'. 
  • Topics 'Cyanides and Isocyanides' have been deleted from Unit 13 (Amines).
  • Topics 'Classification-natural and synthetic and Methods of polymerization (addition and condensation)' have been added to Unit 15 (Polymers). -

Chemistry 12: Practical

  • The total number of periods have been reduced to 60 from 80.
  • Under Qualitative Analyses, in cation As3+" has been added and Co2+" has been deleted. Further in anions, NO, has been added.

Computer Science 12

Economics 12

  • A term Indian Economic System' has been added in Unit 6 (Development Experience (1947- 90) and Economic Reforms since 1991].
  • Only institutional aspects and new agricultural strategy will have to be taught under problems and policies of agriculture in Unit 6 [Development Experience (1947-90) and Economic Reforms since 1991].
  • Topics 1PS-1956 and role and importance' have been added in Unit 6 (Development Experience (1947-90) and Economic Reforms since 1991].
  • Topic Changes in the workforce participation rate in formal and informal sectors' have been added in Unit 7 (Current challenges facing Indian Economy).

Physics 12

  • The number of periods of Unit 1 and 2 has been changed from 22 to 24 and 2O to 18 respectively.
  • Topic 'Experimental study of photoelectric effect' has been added to Chapter 11 (Dual nature of radiation and matter).
  • Topics ' Half-life and Mean life' have been added to Chapter 13 (Nuclear).

Physics 12: Practical Earlier

  • At least 15 experiments were to be recorded (with 6 from each section).
  • At least 5 activities were to be recorded (2 each from Section A and Section B)
  • In the evaluation scheme, two experiments one from each section' had the weightage of 8+8 marks.
  • In the evaluation scheme, 'Practical record' has a weightage of 6 marks.

Physics 12: Practical Now

  • At least 12 experiments to be recorded (with 6 from each section).
  • At least 6 activities to be recorded (3 each from Section A and Section B)
  • An evaluation scheme, 'two experiments one from each section' has the weightage of 7 +7 marks.
  • In the evaluation scheme, 'Practical record' has a weightage of 5 marks.
  • "One activity from any section' having a weightage of 3 marks.

Section-A (Experiments)

The language of experiment 1 and 2 has been changed.

Earlier 

  • To determine resistance per of a given wire by plotting a graph for potential difference versus current.
  • To find the resistance of a given wire using meter bridge and hence determine resistivity (specific resistance) of its material.

Now

  • To determine the resistivity of two/three wires by plotting a graph for potential difference versus current. 
  • To find the resistance of a given wire/standard resistor using meter bridge. 

NOTE:-

Earlier there were 10 experiments but now only 8 experiments as experiment number 3 and 4 and 8 and 9 have been changed into or parts of each other.

  • To verify the laws of combination (series) of resistances using a meter bridge.

OR

  • To verify the laws of combination (parallel) of resistances using a meter bridge.
  • To convert the given galvanometer (of known resistance and figure of merit) Into a voltmeter of desired range and to verify the same.

OR

  • To convert the given galvanometer (of known resistance and figure of merit) Into an ammeter of desired range and to verify the same.

Section-B (Experiments)

  • Experiment To determine the wavelength of a laser beam by diffraction' has been deleted.
  • Earlier there were 10 experiments to do but now there are 9 experiments.
  • For the purpose of understanding only has been deleted after the heading Activities in Section A and Section.

The following major changes are done in the CBSE 11th Syllabus 2020 Academic Session. Check all the details below.

Biology 11

  • The weightage of Unit 1 and Unit 3 has been changed from 10 marks to 12 marks and 14 marks to 12 marks respectively.
  • The number of periods of Unit 1, 2, and 3 has been changed from 23, 23, 34 to 27, 27, 26 respectively.
  • Topic Secondary growth' has been added to chapter 6.

Biology 11: Practical

  • Experiment Number 4 has been divided into two experiments, one is tissues and diversity in shapes and size of plant cell and another is tissues and diversity in shapes and size of animal cells.
  • Three experiments have been deleted from [B. Study/observation of the following (spotting)), i.e. •
    • Study of imbibition in seeds/raisins.
    • Observation and comments on the experimental set up for showing:
    1. Anaerobic respiration
    2. Phototropism
    3. Effect of apical buds removal Study of the external morphology of cockroach through virtual images/models.

Chemistry 11

  • Topics 'Discovery of Electron, Proton, and Neutron, atomic number, isotopes and isobars, Thomson's model and its limitations, Rutherford's model and its limitations' have been added to Unit 2 (Structure of Atom).
  •  Topics 'Significance of classification and a brief history of the development of periodic table' has been added to Unit 3 (Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Elements).
  • The name of Unit 1 (block Elements) has been changed to 'Some p block Elements'.

  • Topic Lorenz curve-Meaning, construction, and its application have been deleted from Unit 3 (Statistical Tools and Interpretation)
  • Topic Oligopoly Meaning and features' has been deleted from Unit 7 (Forms of Market and price determination under Perfect Competition with Simple Application)
