Air Force X, Y Group 2021: Educational Eligibility

 Group ‘X’ Trades: -

• Passed Intermediate (10+2)/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

OR

• Passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).

 Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade:-

• Passed 10+2/Intermediate/ equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
• Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

 Group ‘Y’ {Except Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security), Medical Assistant and Musician:-

• Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English

OR

• Passed 2 years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course)

NOTE:-

1. Diploma holders are eligible to appear for Group X trades only
2. Group ‘X’ examination (on the basis of intermediate/10+2) are also eligible for Group Y.
3. Intermediate must be done from a school listed as Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) member.

• Candidates born between 16 January 2001 and 29 December 2004 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment is 21 years.
